Hunting in Neighbouring Countries

We extended our operation to hunt more of our neighboring countries. We hand picked only the best outfitters in these countries and have a very good working relationship, thus providing the full African experience. Exciting destinations include Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. For a quotation on a safari in any of these countries contact us at info@intrepidsafaris.co.za

Botswana
This is a country of adventure, challenge and discovery. Botswana is one of the most sparsely populated countries in Africa with the exception of the eastern part of the country which receives slightly higher summer rainfall and hence is the most densely populated region; most of Botswana is technically desert. This makes the Okavango Delta situated in the north west of the country unique. It offers exceptionally good elephant hunting in the Okavango Delta and Chobe region, realistically you can expect a 55 lbs plus elephant. We also have a beautiful concession area in the Tuli block on the banks of the Limpopo River where the kudu, bushbuck and waterbuck are just a little bigger.

Mozambique
This beautiful country borders the Indian Ocean on the east side and offers the Intrepid hunter a unique hunting experience. It is not a country I would recommend for a first time hunter, however trophy quality on certain species are exceptional. It offers exceptional buffalo, elephant, and some of the biggest leopards and crocodiles are shot in Mozambique each year. Along the coast are some of the most beautiful islands and lodges. This is a diving and deep sea fishing paradise.

Namibia
Namibia is big sky country - a place where undulating deserts fold down to meet a tempestuous coast line. Namibia offers a diverse range of habitats. It offers some of the most affordable leopard hunting in Africa. Contact us for our exciting leopard hunt we offer with well trained hounds. Combine this with some of the finest plains game and you will have a hunt to remember.

Tanzania
Not for the faint hearted, however some of the finest big game hunting in Africa. The Selous game reserve boast the biggest Cape buffalo population in Africa, it is also one of the few African countries where you can hunt the very elusive lesser kudu, gerenuk, and a variety of the gazelle species.

Zambia
Zambia remains the least disturbed and commercialized and often described as the 'real Africa', with 19 National parks and 33 game management areas, of which the Luangwa valley is the most famous. It offers a wide variety of hunting. It is the only country where you can hunt all of the letswe species. There is very limited lion hunting quotas but trophy quality is outstanding. The Victoria Falls is also beautiful from the Zambian side, with beautiful lodges and hotels on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River.
